Education

1992 PhD in Neurosciences (sleep research)
1988 Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) of Physiological Regulations
1987 Diploma of Specialized Higher Education (DESS) in Psychopathology

Biography

Dr. Tassi Patricia has been working on sleep research since 1990. After her PhD in 1992 in the Laboratory of Physiology and Environmental Psychology, she underwent a postdoctoral training in the Institute for Circadian Physiology at Harvard University (Cambridge, USA) where she worked on polyphasic sleep. In 1994, she obtained a permanent position as Assistant Professor in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Strasbourg and in 2011 a position as Professor in Clinical Psychology. After several years working on psychophysics of vigilance, she directed the sleep team first in the Centre of Applied Physiology of the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) and further in the
Laboratory of Imaging and Cognitive Neuroscience. During many years she worked on the relationships between sleep and cognitive functions in healthy subjects, shift work, sleep apnea, noise and sleep, and more recently on insomnia. Dr. Tassi Patricia is currently conducting a clinical activity in CBT for insomnia in the Laboratory of Psychology of Cognitions at the University of Strasbourg based on collaboration with the Sleep Center of the Group Hospitalier St Vincent (Strasbourg).
