Aims and Scope

The Journal of Network Medicine and Targeted Therapies (JNMTT) (ISSN 2577-1906) is aimed at researchers working on the integration of Systems Biology and Network Science for the benefit of Medicine. In addition to the highest-quality original articles covering the entire field, each issue includes timely reviews of key primary research papers and topics in Network Medicine. The Editors also seek publication of reports on emerging trends in the integration of Genomic, Proteomic, Metabolomic Data, and Dynamic Networks as a framework for understanding disease and therapy.

The Editorial Committee actively aspires to be a leading source of essential knowledge through promoting excellence in Integrative Medicine, Systems Biology, Quantitative and Predictive Physiology, Network Epidemics and Network Pharmacology.

The journal encourages original research and expert reviews of Network Medicine at the forefront of a holistic approach to the identification and investigation of networks of interacting molecular and cellular components. Additionally, it seeks to provide insight into the integration of biomedical research, while potentiating transformation in the investigation of disease etiology, diagnosis, and treatment. JNMTT is particularly interested in receiving manuscripts that report original investigations, and high-quality reviews of interest to an international audience.

JNMTT is aimed at members of the medical community working in or studying the integration of diverse biomedical fields that require visualization and understanding of composite problems. It will be of interest to clinical and academic scientists committed to the most timely and meaningful Network Medicine research across a broad spectrum of Biomedical and Physical Sciences in Biological Systems. Core areas of interest of JNMTT include advancements that result in a better understanding of dynamics of human pathophysiological processes, prognosis and therapy derived from the integrative analysis and application of multiple disciplines to Medicine.

The journal pursues distinguished papers which showcase merit, innovation, application, elegant theory, focus and appeal to the readership. Pathophysiologists, Cell Biology researchers, Physicists, scientists in Genomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics, Pharmaceutical Chemists, Epidemiologists, Toxicologists, and Bioengineers are among expected contributors of JNMTT articles.

JNMTT employs a rigorous peer-review and editing process to evaluate manuscripts for scientific rigor, innovation, and significance. Editors will also weight Network Medicine and Integrative Biology insight with potential contribution to the advancement of Clinical Practice and Medicine.

Call for submissions

The Network Medicine and Targeted Therapies journal publishes articles on original, interdisciplinary, system dynamics, integrative analysis, and “wholistic” research approaches. It actively encourages the integration of knowledge in genomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and physical components that contribute to advances in Network Medicine. It also pursues insight into Integrative Biology, multi and co-morbidity, dynamically-changing entities, and emergent properties. JNMTT is interested in reviews and original research articles on a comprehensive range of topics. Contributors may also present original high-level scientific articles and new theories on integrative analysis of human biosystems.
