Biography

Dr. Luigi De Gennaro is full Professor of physiological psychology at Department of psychology, University of Rome Sapienza and Director of the Sleep Laboratory of the University of Rome Sapienza.
He is a registered member in 8 Research societies. He is also a Member of National Scientific Committee of the Italian Group for the Study of Eye Movements. Since 2015 he is the member of Sleeping Medicine Association. His main interests towards sleep research include heritability, Excitability of M1, Cortico-Hippocampal networks, Corpus callosum, Sleep fragmentation, Sleep onset, Sleep inertia, Sleepiness, Oculomotor system, Placebo effect, Phasic events of REM and NREM, Dream recall, Spatial learning and memory, Exposure to GSM fields.
