Biography

Obtained his medical degree M.B.B.Ch, from the University of Cairo, Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt Master degree in Public Health MPH and a Fellowship in Cross-Cultural psychiatry from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed Psychiatry Residency Training at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in Oklahoma City in Certified in General Adult Psychiatry and in the subspecialty of Geriatric Psychiatry. Fellow of the American Psychiatry Association. Published many articles and is the principal author of the Handbook of Emergency Psychiatry .Lectured nationally and internationally in Egypt, England, Canada and New Zealand. Practiced Psychiatry in Egypt, England and New Zealand. Currently the  Medical Director of Employee Behavioral Health, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire and Professor of Psychiatry Dartmouth ,Geisel School of Medicine.
