Biography

Professor Sumeet Dwivedi born in 1983, India has obtained his M Pharm (Pharmacognosy) at Vinayaka Mission’s College of Pharmacy, VMU, Salem, Tamilnadu, India in 2010. He received PhD of Pharmacy at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Rajasthan, India in the year 2015. He has authored and co-authored over 170 peer reviewed publications.

Before joining Oriental University, Professor Xian was an Associate Professor & Head of Department, Pharmacognosy & Biotechnology, Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, Madhya Pradesh, India.

  • Expertise and experience in standardization and characterization of herbs and herbal formulation
  • Experience in operating UV spectophotometer, IR moisture balance, disintegration apparatus, dissolution apparatus, muffle furnace, extruder and sonicator and various instrument/apparatus involved in the development of novel drug delivery systems from medicinal plants and their extract
  • Expert in plant tissue culture, phenological studies and animal experiments
