Rocio Maceiras Castro is assistant professor of the Defense University Center attached to University of Vigo. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (University of Vigo, 2001), Ph.D in Chemical Engineering (University of Vigo, 2006). She has conducted research in different areas. Present main research areas are Renewable Energies, CO2 capture and the chemical engineering process simulation. Thus far, her research has led to one patent, application, more than 60 journal publications, and 100 conference papers.
