CHI H. LEE, PhD, is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate pharmacy courses. His research focuses on elucidation of pathological mechanisms and formulation development of microbicidal and cardiovascular devices.

  • Development and evaluation of cardiovascular device/scaffold/stent
  • Development and evaluation of transdermal/transmucosal/implantable polymer-based systems for delivery of drugs, proteins and gene
  • Mechanistic studies on the calcium related regulation and transporter involved pathology
  • The role of endogens, proteins and biomarkers in the areas of cardiovascular, sexually transmitted diseases and skin/cervical/breast cancer.
  • Development of Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic computer-simulated and data mining/QSAR models
  • Bioengineering and bioinformatics
