Biography

Dr. Christina Reuterskiöld's research focuses on developmental language disorders in children. Her main interest is the influence of non-linguistic and linguistic context on language processing and production and her studies have included children with language disorders, children with autism and children with hearing impairment. Dr. Reuterskiöld is certified as a Speech Language Pathologist by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Swedish Board of Social Care. Prior to joining New York University, Dr. Reuterskiöld was active in the Department of Logopedics and Phoniatrics at Lund University in Sweden, where students from NYU attend a study abroad program. She holds a Ph.D in Medical Science with a concentration in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Lund University, and a MS from Boston University.
