Biography

Dr. Faisal G. Khamis is a professional educator with more than twenty-two years of teaching, research, and community service. He is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the College of Business, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, UAE. He is a graduate of Baghdad University where he received his Bachelor and Master Degrees of Science in Statistics in 1992 and 1995 respectively. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the National University of Malaysia in 2008.He obtained professional title: Accredited Professional Statistician™ awarded by the American Statistical Association. Dr. Khamisis specialized in structural equations modeling, spatial& temporal statistics, and mortality. He has over twenty-two years of experience working with students and professionals in several universities around the world. He is expert at the League of Arab States in the field of Population and Development. He is a Chartered Statistician-professionally active and Chartered Scientist awarded by Royal Statistical Society (RSS) in UK. He is a consultant in Statistics, as per the directory of RSS. He is certified data scientist awarded by the Data Science Central, USA. He has authored more than 30 papers in the fields of Applied Multivariate Statistics, Mortality, Social Science, Economics, & Spatial and Temporal Statistics. He is an Editor-in-chief, Associate Editor, and Reviewer in more than 40 international journals. He is Ambassador of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE), Dubai, UAE.
