Biography

Clairissa D. Breen, Ph.D. CMAS, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Buffalo State College. She received her Ph.D. in 2012 from Temple University in Philadelphia and certified as a Master Anti-terrorism Specialist (CMAS) with the Anti-terrorism accreditation board in March of 2016. Dr. Breen was elected to the scientific committee of the International Society of Criminology in 2016. She is an avid researcher with many interests in the criminal justice field. Dr. Breen is an internationally recognized presenter on catastrophic criminology and an invited speaker for the training of a wide range of domestic law enforcement organizations.
