Professional Activities:

I was invited by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to serve as a member of an Expert Committee for the 2015 Innovation Fund (IF) competition. Prior to the meeting, starting in mid-July of 2014, I was asked to comment on the strengths and weaknesses of each proposal with respect to six evaluation criteria. It was anticipated that each proposal took about two to three hours to review. During the meeting, the committee assessed each proposal (in total, five proposals) and come to a consensus report.

I was serving as NSERC (Natural Science and Engineering Research Council) Industrial Chair Review Committee in 2009.
