Biography

Prof. Antonio M. Rabasco is Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Seville since 1993. He received his Ph. D. degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from Seville University, Spain. He was the Head of the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Seville from 1997 to 2012. He is currently the Director of the Chair Avenzoar (University of Seville) in order to apply the new technologies of information and communication to pharmaceutical care.


Research Interest

Study of innovative formulations aimed to the production of drug delivery systems such as colloidal systems, liposomes, nanoparticles and microbeads containing drug – cyclodextrin complexes.
