Biography

I’m a specialist in gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy with a PhD in hepato-gastroenterological sciences; I have a special interest focused on digestive endoscopy (diagnostic and operative) and immunology disorders of GI tract (i.e., Inflammatory Bowel Disease).

Presently, I’m working as Consultant Physician & Gastroenterologist, Barts Health University Trust, London, UK and as GI Consultant, Department of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy; previously, I was the head of outpatient clinic for inflammatory bowel disease and gastro-immunologic diseases at the Jewish Hospital of Rome, Italy.

I was appointed Young European Assessors at AIFA (Italian Drug Agency) for immunology and gastroenterology and worked as external consultant for some pharmaceutical companies within inflammatory/autoimmunity field.
