Biography

Dr. Marie-Jo Thiel is a Professor and Director of the European Center for Studies and Research in Ethics (CEERE), University of Strasbourg, France. She is a member of many scientific and ethical committees where she extends her service as an advisor and researcher. Her research mainly focuses on Fundamental Ethics, Applied ethics, Medical Ethics, European Ethics, Sexual and Social Ethics.

Dr. Marie-Jo Thiel has received Maurice Rapin Medical Ethics Award for the book “Where is medicine going? Meaning of representations and medical practices” andFirst trophies for the teaching of ethics in France.
