Biography

Dr Rafiqul Islam is a Senior Lecturer of Computing in the School of Computing and Mathematics, Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences, Charles Sturt University. He earned BSc (Honours) and MSc (Research) from the department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, and PhD degree with the specialisation in Network Security from Deakin University, Australia. Before joining CSU, Rafiqul has worked as a Research Academic in the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Australia. He also worked as Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Information Technology, Deakin University; Adjunct Lead lecturer in School of Information and Communication Technology, CQUniversity; Adjunct Lecturer, department of Epidemic and Biostatistics, Monash University. He was also a Lecturer & Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka.

Dr. Islam is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Fellow member of Association of Accounting Technician (AAT).
