Biography

Dr Bril graduated as top of his class from medical school (2002-2007) and did his Internal Medicine residency (2008-2012) in Argentina. Since his beginnings in medical school, Dr. Bril showed great interest in clinical research and biostatistics, undertaking several statistical courses as part of his curriculum. He joined the endocrinology division of the University of Florida in 2012, where as a Postdoctoral Associate, he is involved in several clinical studies assessing the prevalence of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in different populations using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy, in metabolic studies using the euglycemichyperinsulinemic clamp technique with infusion of stable isotopes, and also in randomized controlled trials assessing new drugs to treat this condition.
