Research Interest

My research interest is cancer immunology and immunotherapy.  The lab focuses on approaches that treat a recognized tumor with immunostimulatory reagents in order to stimulate a systemic response against the tumor that can cure metastatic disease.  The approaches we work with include iron nanoparticle mediated hyperthermia, attenuated microorganisms include Toxoplasma gondii and Listeria monocytogenes, various known agonists the immunostimulatory pathways, viral like nanoparticles and T cell checkpoint blocking antibodies.
