Biography

Dr. Sue Hall has been a neonatologist for 25 years, and before that she worked as a master’s level social worker with families and children who struggled with physical, emotional and developmental challenges.  Dr. Hall completed undergraduate majors in both Psychology and Human Biology at Stanford University, earned an MSW from Boston University, and an MD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  She completed her Pediatric training and Fellowship in Neonatology at The Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.  Formerly an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, and then Medical Director of a large regional NICU in Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Hall is now an Associate Neonatologist at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA

Dr. Hall has had an active career as an author of both scientific and commercial publications including a book about life in the NICU, For the Love of Babies, published in June, 2011 as well as numerous blog posts; a speaker; a consultant to a variety of companies including most recently The Wellness Network; and a volunteer member of the Board of Directors of a number of local and national organizations promoting maternal-child wellbeing.
