Biography

Dr. Xu is currently an Associated Professor in Institute of Gastroenterology, Xijing Hospital.  She is also an internist specialized in gastroenterology diseases.  Her clinical and research work focuses on gastroenterology cancer chemoprevention and treatment.  Before she rejoined Xijing hospital, she was a Research Assistant Professor in the Departments of Hematology and Oncology, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.  She received her MD and PhD degree in Medicine from Fourth Military Medical University in China.  Her work has been published in numerous journals, including J Natl Cancer Inst., Cancer Research, Oncogene, Molecular Cancer Therapeutic.  and Molecular pharmacology.  She is an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research and is serving as an editorial member of multiple journals.
