Research experience in the fields of water resources and water quality, watershed process and management, biogeochemical cycles, sediment and nutrient transport, land use and climate change effects on water resources and carbon and nitrogen cycling, isotopic tracer techniques and GIS/Remote Sensing applicationsin water resources and water quality • PI/Co-PI/Collaborator of ~40 research projects conducted in North America, West Europe, and East Asia • Author/Co-author of 2 books, 20+ book chapters, ~100 articles, and ~150 publishedconference proceedings and abstracts for presentations at regional, national and international conferences• Editor/Co-Editor of 3 books• Chair/committee member of22 Ph.D. and 24 M.S. students.
