Biography

Patrick O’Connor serves as Senior Clinical Investigator at HealthPartners Institute for Education and Research in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He is PI of numerous NIH grants involving diabetesand related chronic diseases.  He has been a co-author of the national American Diabetes Association diabetes care guideline for 5 of the last 12 years, and also co-authors regional ICSI clinical guidelines on treatment of hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, obesity, and on lifestyle prevention of common chronic diseases.
