Biography

Professor Li Ming Wen graduated from the Second Military Medical University (SMMU), Shanghai, China.  After migrating to Australia, in 1994, He obtained Master of Medicine and PhD degrees from Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney. Since 2006, Prof Wen has received > $2 million in peer-reviewed national and international competitive grants.  He has published over 80 peer reviewed papers in high impact journals including Lancet, BMJ, JAMA Pediatrics and IJO.   He has been a Research and Evaluation Program Manager in the Health Promotion Service of Sydney Local Health District, Australia, since 2000. In this role he is also affiliated with Shanghai 10th People’s Hospital, University of Tongji, and Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney.
