Biography

Dr. Raj Kumar is currently a Professor of Biochemistry at The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC), Scranton, PA, USA. He received his Ph.D from University of Lucknow, India, and post doctoral training at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, USA. Before moving to TCMC, he held position of Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UTMB. His current area of research is focused on the role of intrinsically disordered activation domain of transcription factors in the gene regulation. He serves as an editorial board member of about a dozen other international peer reviewed journals, and has served as scientific reviewer for more than 40 peer-reviewed journals. He has also served on numerous national and international scientific review panels. He has over 90 publications including peer-reviewed scientific journals, a book and several book chapters and a patent, and has been invited to speak at several international scientific meetings and research institutes/universities.
