Biography

I obtained her M.D. from North China Coal Medical College (1999) and Ph.D. from Peking Union Medical College (2005). After completing Ph.D. I did my postdoctoral training in Internal Medicine—Liver and Digestive Diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (2007-2012). I now work as Instructor at same department. For the past several years, I have worked closely with Drs. Rhonda Souza and Stuart Spechler to study the molecular mechanism of reflux diseases and the development and progression of Barrett’s esophagus. During this time period, I have published 11 original manuscripts, an editorial, and I have presented numerous abstracts at the annual meeting of the American Gastroenterological Association.
