Biography

Dr. Jayshree Mishra received her Ph D degree in 2005 from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in India. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy. Currently she is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy (Texas A&M University). She has published several papers in the reputed journals in peer review journals, book chapters, and also the recipient of several awards and honors of national and international repute. She has been active in various national and international societies and served as an organizing committee member in Nutraceuticals-2015, Pharmacovigilance-2014, Pharmacovigilance-2013. She has a long time experience working in mucosal inflammation; especially finding therapeutic targets to regulate mucosal inflammation. She has been awarded with several Fellowship of national and international in nature such as DAAD Fellowship; Government of Federal Republic of Germany (2003- 2004), Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Award; India, Delhi (2001-2002), ACCP-TAP Pharmaceuticals GI Investigator Development Research Award from ACCP Research Institute (2006). Currently she is the Co-Principal Investigator of NIH-SBIR funded project.
