Biography

Dr. Yang joined the School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Yang completed his BS in Pharmacology and MS in Pharmacokinetics from China Pharmaceutical University, China. He received his Ph. D. from University of Pittsburgh with specialization in drug delivery. 

Before joining University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, Dr. Yang worked for Population Council; an independent nonprofit organization focusing on helped to further understanding of the relationship between fertility, population growth, and socioeconomic development. His expertise include novel dosage form development, nanoparticle and beta-cyclodextrin delivery systems for solubility enhancement, pharmacokinetics.
