Biography

Dr. Zhi Liu completed his PhD at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the United States and completed a post-doctoral training as a Burroughs Wellcome Postdoctoral Research Fellow in skin autoimmunity and inflammation at the same institution. His work at the Medical College of Wisconsin established him as a well-recognized expert in skin autoimmune blistering disease.

In 2000 Dr. Liu joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he is a Professor of Dermatology and Microbiology and Immunology.
