Nutrition is the common ground of my research interests.  Specifically, my main research interests are the following five areas:

• role of nutrition in prevention of chronic diseases
• role of genes and epigeneticfactors in determination of nutritional preferences
• nutrition of pediatric oncology patients
• nutrition deficiencies in low-income countries
• malnutrition and hungerin the world
