Biography

Terezie Tolar Mosby Ed. D., MS, RD, IBCLC, FAND, LDN is specialist with national and international experience in the field of nutrition.  She frequently gives presentations at national and international conferences, many times as an invited speaker. She is an author and co-author of a number of articles published in peer-reviewed journals.

She received her Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Preventive Medicine from the 3rd Medical School of Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Her Master Degree in Clinical Nutrition and internship was obtained from The University of Memphis, Memphis, TN, as well as her Doctor of Education degree.

Terezie has a broad working experience that includes teaching, prevention, research and community work. During her career, she has worked in four different countries in three different continents. From 2004 till 2014, she has been employed in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital working as the clinical dietitian III in the department of Hematopoietic Transplant and Leukemia & Lymphoma. At2014she joined Tennessee Technological University (TTU) as Associate Professor of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics and director of Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).Terezie’ s main interests are prevention of cancer and some diseases by changing dietary habits, nutrition of critically ill patients, and measures that can be taken to prevent malnutrition in developing countries.

Terezie is the member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic and Children’s Oncology Group. She is certified as lactation consultant
