  • Involved in setting up a research lab focused on utilization of Nanomedicine for drug delivery, writing federal grants and other intramural and extramural grants to support the research
  • Teaching following courses to Pharm D students
    • PSCI 1511 Pharmaceutical calculations, required course, 3 credit hour (Course director and sole instructor)
    • PSCI 1514 Pharmaceutics II: Drug Delivery and Dosage Form Design, required course, 1.5 credit hour (one of the instructors for the team taught course)
    • PSCI 1501, Special research project, Elective course, 1-3 credit hour

  • Awarded best poster award for the presentation entitled ‘Nanoject: Nanostructured Lipid Nanocarrier based intravenous injection of Artemether’ at the 7th Int. Symposium on Advances in Technology and Business Potential of New Drug Delivery Systems, 13-14 February, 2007, Mumbai, India.
  • Mahindra Search for Talent Scholarship during M Pharm for standing first at the M. Pharmacy Examination
  • Young scientist travel grant by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India to attend and present posters at 32nd Annual meeting and exposition of the controlled release society, Miami Florida, USA, held on June 18-22, 2005.
