Research Interest

  1. Endodontics : Diagnosis and treatment of dentin hypersensitivity and tooth fracture; Pain control in endodontics; Study on electronic root canal meter and its clinical application; Root canal rotary instrumentation; Endodontic microsurgery and digital radiography.
  2. Hard Tissue and Biomineralization Research: Ultrastructure of enamel, dentin and bone. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy (Figure 1).
  3. Oral Biomaterials and Nanotechnology: Bioglas, mesoporous SiO2, Ca-Si ceramics; Bioactive nanomaterilas for dentin erosion, hypersensitivity (Figure 2) and pulp regeneration; Biomechanisms of tooth, periodontal ligament and bone; Bonding and fracture mechanics, Finite element simulation; Micromechanical analysis of restored crown and posted root.
