Biography

Dr. Patrick Boland received his BA in Biology from Cornell University. He then went on to obtain a doctorate of medicine (MD) at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, completing internal medicine training at Boston University Medical Center. He completed his training in the form of a Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center/Temple University Hospital. Dr. Boland joined the department of medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2013 as an assistant professor. He is currently a practicing medical oncologist in the GI oncology department, with a focus on lower gastrointestinal cancers, namely small bowel, colorectal, and anal cancers. He is focused on clinical and translational research with the goal of expanding therapeutic options and improving outcomes for patients.
