Biography

Dr. Harshal T. Pandve is currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Community Medicine (PSM) at PCMC’s Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital & Postgraduate Medical Institute (YCMH-PGI), Pimpri, Pune, India. Previously he served as the Associate Professor in Dept. of Community Medicine at Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Dr. Harshal T. Pandve has completed his M.B.B.S. from Rural Medical College, Loni and M.D. in Community Medicine from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Pimpri, Pune. He has also completed National Institute of Health (NIH) USA sponsored Advanced Training in Health Research Methodology Training at St. John’s Medical College & Research Institute, Bangalore, India. He is active member of Indian Public Health Association (IPHA), Indian Association of Occupational Health (IAOH), International Health Economics Association (IHEA) and International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) and many more. He has more than 90 articles to his credit published in various indexed International & National journals. He has also published many articles in Local languages in Newspapers & Magazines. He is member of Editorial boards of several reputed journals. He is also a Peer Reviewer for more than 25 journals including Bulletin of World Health Organization (WHO), BMC Medical Education. He has been invited as Guest Speaker / Faculty for Conferences, CMEs, and Workshops. He was part of organizing committees of various Conferences, CMEs, Workshops, Trainings, Quiz contests. He has been included in Marquis Who’s Who in the World Directory published by Marquis Who’s Who Publishers, USA as “Distinguished Medical Researcher”. He has special interest in disseminating and encouraging research among young minds. He is mentor and guide for many students of different specialties for research related activities
