Biography

Dr. George Randels is Professor of Social Ethics at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. His teaching focuses on topics in social ethics, including bioethics and health humanities. He has served as co-chair of the American Academy of Religion’s Bioethics Group since 2012. Randels earned a PhD from the University of Virginia and a master’s from Yale University. He previously taught at New College of Florida and at Emory University, where he also held post-doctoral fellowships with Emory’s Center for Ethics.
