Maria Cristina VERONESI was born in Busto Arsizio, Italy, on 5th September 1965. DVM, PhD, ECAR diplomate, professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Università degli Studi di Milano. Teaching, scientific and clinical activities are focussed on all the aspects of domestic animals reproduction, and especially on neonatology. Teacher for undergraduate, postgraduate courses and practitioners seminars, mainly focussed on small animals neonatology, and for the Specialization Schools at the Veterinary Faculties of the Università di Teramo and of the Università degli Studi di Milano. Co-author of more than 160 publications on both national and international peer-reviewed journals and author of the section “Neonatologia del cane e del gatto” (Dogs and cats neonatology) in the book “Neonatologia Veterinaria” (Veterinary neonatology). Member of the Educational and Residencies Committee for the European College of Animal Reproduction, and Vice president of the Italian Scientific Group for the Study of Veterinary Paediatrics.
