Biography

Maurizio Palesi received the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Catania, Italy, in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is an Associate Professor with the Information Processing Systems, Kore University of Enna, Enna, Italy. He has published one book, six book chapters, and over 110 refereed international journals and conference papers. His current research interests include embedded systems design and single-chip implementations of complete embedded systems known as system-on-chip. Dr. Palesi was a recipient of the Best Paper Award from DATE 2011. He is an Associate Editor of eight publications. He has served as a Guest Editor for several international journals.
